Contact and Corrections
Read this first. We are a research site. We do not open accounts, hold metal, sell coins, or have access to anyone's IRA. If you already have an account somewhere, we cannot see it and we cannot act on it, so please contact your own custodian rather than us.
What we do want to hear about is anything we have published that is wrong. That is the message that gets read first.
Report an error
Rules in this area are technical and they change. A page that is accurate today can be wrong after one act of Congress or one revised custodian policy, and we would rather hear it from you than keep publishing it.
Send us the page, the specific sentence, and the source that contradicts us. Corrections backed by a primary source get made and dated, and where the change is material we say on the page what changed rather than editing quietly. That commitment is set out in full on our standards page.

Put the page title in the subject line. If you are pointing at a statute, a court decision, an IRS page or a provider's own document, include the link and we will read the source rather than argue from memory.
What we can and cannot help with

That last one deserves a straight answer. We are happy to hear from providers, and we will always publish a corrected term if you show us the current document. What we will not do is add, remove or move a provider in a comparison because of a commercial conversation. If we are paid by a provider, that is disclosed on the page in question, and it does not change the figures.
Two things we cannot do, however the question is phrased
Cannot Tell you what to do with your retirement money
We are not a registered investment adviser and we cannot see your circumstances, your tax position, your other holdings or your timeline. Whether a concentrated position in one asset class suits you is a real question and it deserves someone who can see all of it. We will explain a rule as precisely as we can. We will not tell you how much of your pension to move.
Cannot Intervene with a provider on your behalf
We have no relationship with your account and no standing to act for you. If you are in a dispute with a dealer, custodian or depository, your routes are the firm's own complaints process, your state regulator, and where relevant the relevant federal agency. We can tell you which of the three parties is which, and that is often the part people are stuck on.
Who we are
Metals Retirement is published by CCC Impact B.V.. We are independent of every provider we write about, we are not a broker, dealer, custodian, depository, law firm or investment adviser, and we earn money through referral fees that are disclosed on the pages where they apply.
